Computer mouse is an input device which use to control a course in graphical user interface (GUI) and by use this course you can move and select text, different icon, file folder one place to another place on your PC. For desktop computer we use mouse as an external input device. We keep it on a flat surface such as mouse pad or level place in front of computer. Below picture is a sample of PC mouse.

If you mouse in your computer you don’t have to memorize command. Suppose in MS-DOS you would need to know the CD command and DIR command and type the commands on the keyboard to open a directory (folder) and view its files. But, through the mouse you open any folder by double click.
